The MTR is fast, cheap and spotless, and the Octopus card works on the metro, buses, trams, the Star Ferry and in convenience stores. The harbour ferries and the historic Peak Tram are attractions in themselves. Beyond the Octopus card, the <strong>MTR Tourist Day Pass</strong> gives unlimited MTR for ~HK$75 (1-day); the Star Ferry (~HK$5) and trams (~HK$3) are bargains, and <strong>Big Bus</strong> hop-on combos start ~HK$520.
