Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is about 25 km from the city centre. The RER B train reaches Gare du Nord / Châtelet in ~35 min (~€14 airport ticket, valid onward on the metro for 2 hrs). A fixed-fare taxi to central Paris is €56 north of the Seine or €65 south, up to 4 passengers. (The Roissybus was discontinued in 2026.) Best time to visit

Late spring (Apr–Jun) and early autumn (Sep–Oct) are loveliest. Summer is warm and busy (and many locals leave in August). Winter is cold but magical around the holidays. Pack for occasional rain.
