Tokyo Narita (NRT) is about 60 km from the city centre. Take the train — the Keisei Skyliner reaches Ueno in 41 min (¥2,465) and the JR Narita Express (N'EX) runs to Tokyo, Shibuya and Shinjuku (~¥3,000). A taxi is very expensive (¥20,000+). If you instead fly into Haneda (HND), it's far closer — the Keikyu line or Tokyo Monorail reach the centre in ~20–30 min for ¥500 or less.
